History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was of leaf-mines found at Moffat, Dumfriesshire, on 3rd August 1975 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton, while the first for Wigtownshire was of leaf-mines found at Cairnryan on 28th June 1988, also by E. C. Pelham-Clinton, with the Kirkcudbrightshire first being of a larva found at Clatteringshaws Loch on 19th July 1994 by A. M. Emmet.
