Larvae: September-June, first in spun leaves or flowers then in a leaf rolled lengthways.  Adults: May-September.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish, Dumfriesshire, by Sir Arthur Duncan on 27th July 1976, specimen now at National Museums Scotland, while the first for Kirkcudbrightshire was found at Kirkcudbright on 28th July 2008, with the Wigtownshire first being found at The Forest during August 2006 by Arthur Ewing.
