Larvae: June-July in Scotland (April-October elsewhere in the UK) in spun leaves bunched together.  Adults: August-May in Scotland (June-May elsewhere in the UK).

History

First accepted record for Dumfries and Galloway was two adults netted at Kirkconnell Flow, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 7 November 2020.  ID of one confirmed by gen det.
