Larvae: August-April in the rootstock.  Adults:  May-July.

Devil’s-bit Scabious.


The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Portobello, Wigtownshire, on 22nd June 1998, while the first for Kirkcudbrightshire was found on Ardwall Isle during 2016.
