Larvae: June-July, September-May.  Adults: May-June, July-September.

Larval foodplants

Common Sea-lavender, very rarely on Rock Sea-lavender.  Large arcs eaten from the leaves indicate the work of a larva.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found on the Lochar merse, Dumfriesshire, in the Caerlaverock WWT grounds, on 9th July 1996.
