Larvae present May-June, at first in a spun shoot, later in a rolled leaf.  Adults: July-September.

Knapweed species.


The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Ravenshall Point, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 4th August 1997, while the first record for Wigtownshire was found at Stein Head on the Isle of Whithorn, on 10th August 2013.
