The white broad basal streak rules out all others.

Larvae: April-May in spun leaves.  Adults: June-July.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Kirkcudbrighthsire, on 29th June 1996 during a ‘Grey Daggers’ Moth Group field meeting, while the first for Dumfriesshire was trapped at Courance on 18th July 2013.
