History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Loch Lurkie, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 18th July 1971 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton, who also found the first for Dumfriesshire at Old Bar, near Sanquhar on 10th August 1975, with the Wigtownshire first being found at Carsegowan Moss on 9th August 1997.
