Larvae present June-March in a shoot causing discolouration.  Adults April-June.

Juniper or Chamaecyparis species eg Lawson’s Cypress.

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Minnigaff, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 17th June 2013.
