Larvae May-July, feeding from a silk tube amongst twigs of the foodplant.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 4th September 1978 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland, while the first for Dumfriesshire was found at an unknown site by a person unknown prior to 2001 (MOGBI data).
