Life cycle

Larvae: ?July-August, August-June, mining a leaf and the stem, usually causing yellowish discoloration of the tip.  Adults? May-September.

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found on Auchencairn Bay, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 27th June 2003.
