Life cycle

Larvae present April-May, possibly starting as a leaf-miner, later in spun shoots and leaves causing these to wither. Adults fly June-September.

Habitat

Coastal shingle and cliffs.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was trapped at Cardryne, near Drummore, Wigtownshire on 8th September 2012.
