History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at The Forest, Wigtownshire, during June 1989 by E. F. Hancock, while the first for Dumfriesshire was found at an unknown site by a person unknown prior to 1996 (MOGBI data), with the Kirkcudbrightshire first being found at Lochaber Loch on 21st June 1996.
