History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at the Needles Eye, near Caulkerbush, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 21st July 1963 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton, who also found the first for Wigtownshire at Elrig Loch, near Mochrum, on 28th June 1988, with the Dumfriesshire first being trapped at Courance on 8th July 2012.
