Flies and dawn and dusk and comes to light.

Life cycle

Larvae present September-April.  Adults June-August.

Larval foodplants

Several species of bracket fungus, and a wide variety of fungi under the bark of dead trees.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found near Dalry, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 4th July 2001, while the first for Dumfriesshire was found at Tynron Juniper Wood on 25th June 2015.
