Sea Club-rush Bolboschoenus maritima, less often Saltmarsh Rush Juncus gerardii or Round-fruited Rush Juncus compressus

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found on Auchencairn Bay, Kirkcudbrightshire, during 2003, while the first for Dumfriesshire was found at Glencaple on 27th June 2014 during a Scottish Entomologists’ gathering and determined later by dissection.
