Life cycle

Larvae: June-July, September-April.  The June-July brood feeds in the stem, the September-April brood in the rootstock.  Adults: May-July.

History

First definite record for Dumfries and Galloway was an adult netted on the Portling-Sandyhills cliffs on 12 July 2019 (id confirmed by dissection).
