Larvae: September-April in a tubular spinning among the needles from which it emerges to feed on the adjacent needles.  Adults: May-July.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 15th June 2002.
