History

The first record for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 21st May 1979 by Sir Arthur Duncan (specimen now at National Museums Scotland)  The first for Dumfriesshire was netted in Duncow Woods on 21st April 2014.
