Larvae: June-October in leaves spun together to make a hollow space (Bog Myrtle) or a pod (willows and birches).  Adults: May-June.

Bog Myrtle, willow species, Blaeberry, Birch species.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Clatteringshaws Loch, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 19th July 1994 by A. M. Emmet.
