History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 30th August 1978 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland, while the first for Wigtownshire was found at Carsegowan Moss on 9th August 1997 during a ‘Grey Daggers’ Moth Group field meeting, with the Dumfriesshire first being found at Castle Loch LNR at Lochmaben on 13th August 1997.
