History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at an unknown site in Dumfriesshire by a person unknown prior to 1975 (BRC/MOGBI data), while the first for Kirkcudbrightshire was found at Troston on 2nd July 1979 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
