Life cycle

Larvae: September-June in spun shoots.  Adults: June-August.

Larval foodplants

Hawthorn species, Prunus species (plums, cherries, blackthorn etc) and, rarely, apple species.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kelhead Flow, Dumfriesshire, during 2015.
