Larvae April-June in a downward-folded leaf.  Adults June-July.

Lesser Celandine and other herbaceous plants, also Vaccinium species (Blaeberry, Cranberry, Cowberry).

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Caerlaverock, Dumfriesshire, on 10th July 1982 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton, while the first for Kirkcudbrightshire was found at High Camer Wood on 24th June 2005.
