Larvae: August-April in the seeds.   Adults: May-August.

Sycamore, Norway Maple, probably also Field Maple.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Tynron, Dumfriesshire, on 10th June 1944 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland, while the first for Kirkcudbrightshire was found at Glenlee on 4th August 2011.
