Life cycle

Larvae: May-July in leaves spun together or a leaf folded lengthways.  Adults: July-October.

Many trees & shrubs.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Mersehead RSPB, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 15th August 1996, while the first for Dumfriesshire was found at Durisdeer on 30th June 1999, with the Wigtownshire first being trapped at Glenstockadale on 15th July 2013.
