Very similar to Phycitodes saxicolaP.binaevella and Homoeosoma nebulella and H.nimbella. Genital dissection suggested for confident identification.

Attracted to light.

May-October.

Composites including yarrows and ragworts.

Habitat

Coastal habitats, also, increasingly found inland in various habitats.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found near Dalry, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 23rd June 2005.
