Life cycle

Larvae present May-June among spun flowers and leaves.  Adults fly July-April.

Larval foodplants

Common Scurvygrasses (Cochlearia officinalis agg.), Northern Rock-cress, Hairy Bitter-cress.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found near Monreith, Wigtownshire during July 1899 by K. J. Morton, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
