Identification

The pinkish hue of the upperparts and the banding on the antennae is the first clue.

Life cycle

Larvae present June-July.  Adults fly August -June.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Chippermore Point, Wigtownshire, on 23rd July 2010, while the first for Kirkcudbrightshire was found on Barcloy Hill on 13th August 2013.
