Life cycle

Larvae present May-June, September-October, mining the leaves or feeding in spun leaves and on flowers and seeds.  Adults fly April-June, July-September.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Barholm Saltings, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 29th July 1983.
