History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was of leaf-mines found at Kirkcowan, Wigtownshire, on 6th October 1963 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton and bred on, emerging 7th June 1964, while the first for Dumfriesshire was found at an unknown site by a person unknown prior to 1975 (MOGBI data).
