Life cycle

Larvae present July and September.  Adults fly April-June, July-September.

Larval foodplants

Hawthorn species, Apple species, Pear, Wild Cherry, Blackthorn.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Cleugh SSSI, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 22nd June 1996 during a Scottish Entomologists’ gathering.
