Flies in sunshine and visits flowers of the foodplant.  Migrant and temporary resident.

Life cycle

Larvae: July-September.  Adults: July-October.

Common Fleabane.

History

The first record for Dumfries & Galloway was of several dozen found at Abbey Burn Foot, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 21st June 1998.
