Larvae: May-October on upper side of leaf under a loose web.  Adults: June-August, September-May.

Larval foodplants

Apple species, hawthorn species, whitebeam species, Wild Plum, Dwarf Cherry.  Occasionally Cotoneaster species.  Adults: June-August, September-May.

History

First record for Dumfries and Galloway was leaf damage recorded between Airds Point and New Abbey Pow, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 10 October 2022.
