History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was of a leaf-mine found at Craigieburn Wood, Dumfriesshire, on 23rd May 1965 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton, while the first for Wigtownshire was found at Aird, near Stranraer, on 18th July 1994 by A. M. Emmet, with the Kirkcudbrightshire first being found at Hannaston Wood SSSI on 22nd June 1996 during a Scottish Entomologists’ gathering.
