Larvae: July-April, at first in the roots then moving up into the flower stem in spring.  Adults: May-August.

Colt’s-foot; occasionally Winter Heliotrope.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Locharbriggs, Dumfriesshire on 11th July 1983 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
