Larvae: May-June in a leaf rolled round the midrib.  Adults: June-September.

Larval foodplants

Oak species.


The first for Scotland and Dumfries & Galloway was found at Mains of Cairnbrock, Wigtownshire, in July 2014, confirmed by K. P. Bland, while the first for Dumfriesshire was found at Woodcockair, Hoddam, in August 2016.
