Larvae: May-June, July-April in the seed capsule.  Adults: April-May, June-August.

Larval foodplants

Cowslip, Lousewort, Yellow-rattle, Goldenrod.


The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found in Colvend parish, Kirkcudbrightshire, during 1870 by Francis Buchanan White, while the first for Dumfriesshire was trapped at Dornockbrow on 27th June 2012.
