Occasionally comes to light.

Life cycle

Larvae: June, September-April.  In June on the flowers.  The September-April brood feeds in the shoots just above the crown, mining down into the rootstock where they overwinter.  Adults: May-June, July-September.

Larval foodplants

Sea Arrowgrass, Marsh Arrowgrass.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Glencaple, Dumfriesshire, on 10th August 1995, while the first for Kirkcudbrightshire was found on Auchencairn Bay during 2003.
