Larvae present March-June, occasionally July-August, in a rolled, twisted leaf.  Adults June-August.

Various grasses including Arrhenatherum elatius, Brachypodium spp, Dactylis, Poa spp.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Ravenshall Point, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 4th August 1997.
