Recording Method

Attracted to light. Often found in the field.

May-September.

Thistles and burdocks.

Habitat

A wide range of habitats.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found on Auchencairn Bay, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 19th July 2002, while the first for Dumfriesshire was found at Kirkton on 16th June 2006, with the Wigtownshire first being found at Chapel Finian on 8th July 2011.
