Identification

Wings are translucent white, with a yellowish brown edge to the forewing costa.

Recording Method

Attracted to light.

Flight Period

Adults can be found through June to early December.

Larval Foodplants

Not known to breed in the UK. Breed on Jasmine (Jasminium spp.) and Olive (Olea spp.) in Europe.

Habitat

Mainly coastal sites, but can be anywhere.

History

The first for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkton, Dumfriesshire, on 27th October 1995. No records from Kirkcudbrightshire or Wigtownshire.
