Recording method

Readily disturbed from the foodplant on sunny days, flying for short distances.  Comes to light.

Life cycle

Larvae present April-June, feeding within a silk web on the underside of a stem.  Adults fly May-August.

Wild Thyme.

History

First record for Dumfries and Galloway was an adult netted at Meikle Ross, Kirkcudbrightshire, on 22 June 2015.
