Mines: June-July, September-November.  Adults fly May & August.

Larval foodplants

Smooth-leaved willows (Salix fragilis, S. alba, S. viminalis, S. babylonica, S. purpurea, S. pentandra).


The first for Dumfries & Galloway was of vacated leaf-mines found at The Crichton, Dumfries on 27th October 2012.
